LIVE MONTH LONG CHALLENGE | MAY 2023
Challenge starts in:
As a 21st century mom, it's not uncommon to look around your home and see EVERY. SINGLE. family member looking down at their devices:
It's no wonder you're concerned, mama. Technology has changed everyone's lives and manipulated our attention and time.
Challenge starts in:
Right now, you might feel like you're failing as a parent if you aren't strictly controlling your kids' screen time (or for even allowing them access to a device in the first place).
But, let's be real. Screens are everywhere and unavoidable. Kids are using them in school, we need them for work. And TBH, letting the kiddos tune in to some 'toons or games allows you a much needed break and some temporary relief.
There is so much good that comes from technology (food delivery for the win!) - but you admit that parts of it manipulate your time, attention and mood, as well as your kids'.
This is the month we keep the GOOD and toss out the bad.
Challenge starts in:
I remember the exact moment two years ago that I knew things needed to change.
It was the day after Christmas and I had just finished all the shopping, had done all the wrapping, and organized all the meals - on top of keeping up with my own job, taking the kids to their after-school activities, and managing my son's frequently intense emotions.
I sat on the couch and cried. Huge, heaving, trying to catch-my-breath sobs.
There I was, doing EVERYTHING and still feeling like a huge disappointment.
That's when I knew I couldn't do it all anymore. My kids expected me to take care of waking them up, to answer their every need, and constantly be available. I felt overwhelmed and I knew my kids weren't developing any responsibility with me doing it all.
So, I started changing how I asked. I used proven strategies from psychology and the strong communication skills I've learned through my experience as a teacher & parenting and life coach.
I also changed my mindset. I gave myself permission to pause and take care of myself, and I want to help you do the same.

Our Digital Detox Challenge is a month-long event that starts May 1st, 2023.
Each week, former classroom teacher and certified life coach, JoAnn Crohn, M.Ed, will teach you the steps to identify your triggers and the reasons behind reaching for your phone, figure out what you enjoy off screens, and how to create an actionable plan to take back your - and your family's - time to be more present in the moment.
As part of the challenge, you will be asked to complete between 1 and 3 daily habits which you will mark off on your May Habit Tracker, as well as daily detox activities and journal entries in the challenge workbook.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to join us for monthly goal setting on May 5th, time-blocking every Friday, and twice weekly live coaching sessions for support and encouragement.
It's okay if you can't attend live! Goal-setting, coaching, time-blocking and the quick-win sessions are recorded and available for replay in our private member community, where you can also ask questions and get support at any time.
YES! Everyone who completes the challenge will receive an exclusive sticker from No Guilt Mom.
The Digital Detox Challenge takes place
in our private online member community,
