How to Grow Your Email List
How do I get people to sign for my emails?
My email strategy used to be this.
- I placed a newsletter sign up link at the top of every post inviting my readers to sign for new posts and first notice on giveaways.
- I also made a mini ebook pamphlet of ways to de-stress as a parent and placed a very pretty picture of it at the bottom of each post.
- I installed a pop up as well offering that same e-book.
By doing all of those things, I got maybe 1 email subscriber every few days. ONE subscriber!
Yesterday, 56 people signed for my emails. In ONE day!
Where are they coming from?
I’m offering content upgrades.
These are little pdf’s that readers can download within the post. Readers enter their email and then I send the pdf to their inbox – along with a lot more fun stuff.
In fact, I offered a content upgrade in this blog report when I offered you my tricks for sponsored posts. Which you should get because they are awesome! Plus, I also send you the places that I work for along with my secrets to having amazing photos in sponsored posts.

Why do I want people on my list?
Because I want them to know me. I want to form a relationship with my readers which I can’t happen through a blog post.
I want those people who find me via Pinterest and Facebook to stick around and keep coming back.
Plus, the people on my email list will be the first to support me in any new product I launch.
I turned to my email list in March to launch my first product.
I tell you all about my product and how I’m selling it on the next page.
