How do I come up with a product to sell?
So… products.
You might be aware of my failed product launch in December where I offered a book of Christmas activities and only 3 people bought it.
That book took countless hours to create, tons of coordination and then I made $8.
I vowed to never again create a product just because I think people might like it. My next product would require proof. I wanted my readers to be asking for something before I put in the work.
With this product, they did. Although it came in a round-about way.
I’m so fortunate to be in a mastermind led by a brilliant business woman and full of amazing bloggers. When we met in February, we discussed what posts were popular on our blogs. When I explained my small wardrobe post, the group came up with my product idea which I then put into action.

My clients send me pictures of their clothes and I make outfits for them. Here’s a little taste of what I do:
I created a Gumroad account to host my product and then I offer it during an online workshop about taming your own wardrobe.
Let me tell you, that webinar took A TON of experimenting and trial and error. My first two webinars had so many technical difficulties. I even completely logged off during one of them and the screen went black.
However, my third one, which I promoted heavily through my mailing list, went really well! 28 people signed up. Of those, 8 attended and 1 bought my product.
Since then, I’ve sold more 3 more!!
My plan is to keep holding workshops and help more women find confidence in their everyday outfits.
